RLG LAW Joins Forces with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in Support of ‘Better Together’ COVID-19 Vaccination Pledge

Pledge seeks to inspire employees to receive COVID vaccination when eligible

 Rockville, Maryland, March 30, 2021 – RLG LAW, today announced it has signed the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (CareFirst) COVID-19 Vaccine Pledge. The pledge, which is part of the insurer’s larger campaign ‘Better Together,’ seeks to educate and encourage people about the importance of everyone taking the COVID-19 vaccine when they are eligible and able to achieve targeted vaccination rates that will help end the pandemic.

As part of this pledge, CareFirst will donate $100 for every CareFirst employee who takes the pledge and $1,000 for every organization that pledges. Donations are expected to reach as much as $1.7 million and will be distributed to community organizations helping with vaccination the surrounding regions.

The ‘Better Together’ campaign is a multi-faceted campaign that aims to support public health official’s work to increase vaccination rates and will focus on the steps people can take to protect themselves, their families, and our communities from COVID-19. The campaign currently features a public health ad, The Deal, and an enhanced COVID-19 resource center that will constantly evolve and expand to present the most up-to-date information on vaccinations and other questions people may have.
